With the aim of strengthening the connection between classroom theory and practical working environments, while also enabling students to gain early exposure to logistics and supply chain operations in modern enterprises, on the morning of May 27, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized a field trip and practical learning session at IDC Long Binh Bonded Warehouse for students of class 24LG112 majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The program was attended by 42 students together with lecturers, academic advisors, and the Faculty’s internship and enterprise relations department. This activity represents one of the Faculty’s practical initiatives under its educational orientation of “learning through practice – strengthening industry engagement – developing professional competencies from an early stage,” with the goal of improving training quality and enhancing students’ career adaptability while they are still at university.

At IDC Long Binh Bonded Warehouse, students had the opportunity to directly observe the real operational environment of a bonded warehouse system, gaining insights into cargo management procedures, warehousing operations, import-export control processes, and logistics activities associated with modern supply chains. Through these hands-on experiences, specialized knowledge previously learned in the classroom was vividly transformed into practical understanding, helping students gain deeper insights into logistics operations within real business environments.

In addition to the site visit, students also had opportunities to interact and exchange ideas directly with enterprise representatives regarding logistics industry trends, recruitment demands, essential professional skills, as well as internship and employment opportunities in warehousing and supply chain management. Numerous questions related to logistics technology, real working environments, adaptability skills, and career orientation were thoroughly addressed by the enterprise representatives, providing students with valuable practical perspectives.

The program atmosphere was dynamic and engaging, reflecting the proactive, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn spirit of Logistics and Supply Chain Management students. Through the practical learning experience, students not only strengthened their professional knowledge but also had opportunities to develop communication skills, professional manners, practical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in modern corporate environments.
