Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students Participate in Practical Learning Experience at TOPBAND SMART Dong Nai

In the context of practice-oriented education and increasing alignment with industry demands, internships and practical experiences play an increasingly important role in developing students’ professional competencies. With the objective of enabling students to access real working environments from the early stages of their academic journey, on the morning of May 7, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized a field trip and practical learning program at TOPBAND SMART Dong Nai for students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The program involved 42 students from class 24LG111, under the guidance and support of lecturers, academic advisors, and the Faculty’s internship and enterprise relations division. This activity was not only an experiential component of the academic curriculum but also served as an important bridge between the university and enterprises in preparing high-quality human resources for the labor market.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to directly observe a modern manufacturing and operational environment, while gaining insights into management systems, logistics activities, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes within a large-scale technology enterprise. Knowledge acquired in the classroom was effectively contextualized through direct exposure to real-world operations, enabling students to better understand the practical applicability of their field of study.

Through direct interaction with company representatives, students were also introduced to recruitment trends, required professional competencies, career opportunities, and development orientations within the logistics and supply chain sector. Numerous questions related to adaptability skills, technological applications, international working environments, and career advancement opportunities were addressed in detail, providing students with a more practical and comprehensive understanding of their future profession.

The expansion of internship programs, field visits, and enterprise engagement activities clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of Lac Hong University’s educational model of “learning through practice – enterprise-integrated training – early professional competency development.” Students are not only equipped with solid academic foundations but are also provided with opportunities to gain practical experience, engage directly with enterprises, and gradually build professional competencies throughout their studies.

Through a wide range of enterprise collaboration activities, Lac Hong University continues to affirm its position as a dynamic, practice-oriented learning environment with abundant career opportunities for students. This is also one of the key factors contributing to the growing attractiveness of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, particularly in the context of the increasing demand for high-quality human resources in the industry.
