Pursuant to the Regulations on Admission and Training at the Master’s Level stipulated in Circular No. 23/2021/TT-BGDĐT dated August 30, 2021, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, Lac Hong University, organized the English Proficiency Assessment Examination 2025 – Session 2. According to these regulations, candidates applying for admission, in addition to holding a bachelor’s degree or meeting the requirements for graduation recognition, must also satisfy the foreign language proficiency requirement, which is one of the key conditions for admission to the master’s program.
According to Article 5 of the Circular, the admission requirement stipulates that candidates must “possess a foreign language proficiency of Level 3 or higher under the Vietnamese Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.” This is an essential criterion to ensure that applicants are sufficiently capable of using a foreign language in their study and research at the master’s level. To meet this requirement, on August 3, 2025, the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, in collaboration with various units of the university, organized the English Proficiency Assessment Examination.
This examination not only provided candidates with the opportunity to demonstrate their language competence but also served as an important preparation step for those aspiring to pursue study and research at the master’s level. By testing all four fundamental English skills—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—candidates were comprehensively assessed on their language proficiency. The level of difficulty was equivalent to Level 3 through Level 5 of the Vietnamese Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework, thereby ensuring that the results accurately reflected the candidates’ actual proficiency.
Throughout the examination process, the departments worked in close coordination to ensure that every stage was carried out smoothly, from preparing facilities and administering the test to grading. The success of the examination not only demonstrated the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies’ professional organizational capacity but also strengthened candidates’ confidence in the quality of training and assessment at the university.
With the results achieved from this examination, candidates will have the opportunity to continue their academic journey at the university, fully meeting the rigorous admission standards of the master’s program. The 2025 English Proficiency Assessment Examination – Session 2 concluded successfully, opening a new chapter for candidates on their path toward earning a master’s degree.
