On June 24, 2026, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.
Accordingly, Lac Hong University (LHU) was ranked in the 801–1000 band among the world’s leading universities, moving up by more than 500 places compared with 2025. This is the third time LHU has participated in the ranking and also marks the university’s most notable progress to date. In its first year, LHU was placed in the 1001–1500 band globally, followed by the 1500+ band in the second year. By 2026, the university had risen to the 801–1000 band, improving by more than 500 places from the previous year.
This milestone recognises LHU’s sustained efforts in education, scientific research, innovation, technology transfer and community responsibility in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A key highlight for LHU is SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, where the university was ranked in the 201–300 band globally. This result reflects LHU’s development orientation linked to health-related disciplines, community care, and research and application activities serving society.

The university’s rise of more than 500 places in the Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 demonstrates the effectiveness of the LHU 2.0 Strategy, which aims to make Lac Hong University a leading application-oriented university in Vietnam and the region by 2045.
